to interview or not to

In my experience, I would not even waste my time interviewing for a position that your REALLY don't want. You might end up feeling resentful and this may reflect on your teaching. As far as using a bad job to get a good one; don't count on that. I tried that method and the bad job actually caused more problems in my life and it did not lead to a better one. Keep subbing and networking for a job that is right for you and don't give up. Positive thinking and building your confidence and doing your research can go a long way. Good Luck.
