What state are you in? There are certain requirements for teacher/child ratios where I am. It is absolutely illegal to have more than 14 children in any mixed situation when the youngest age group is 3's. Is your school licensed?? If things don't get better, write a letter to whoever is over your supervisor and explain that you have requested that another teacher be added to the room, but your supervisor refuses to follow through with your request. Explain your frustration...there is a chain of command, but you can always bend here and there to get what you want done....good luck!
