Ok so my grades would look like this
Investigation 1 90
Investigation 1 test 80
Investigation 2 90
Invetigation 2 test + 70
_________
330 /4 = 82.5

Some quarters have more investigations and others have less. It depends how my kids are handking the standard being taught. Hope this helps. Also all the work for the investigations, I check it periodically in their notebooks. I do not collect work on a daily basis. once a week or so, I will collect their notebooks to grade. I try to get this done at least once during an investigation.
