I don't know if this is what you have in mind, but something our school did was have a "raffle" of a summer fun basket. Each time a child earned 5 points, he/she got a ticket to put their name on and it went into a drawing for a basket. The basket had fun beach things, bubbles, frisbee, etc... It didn't cost much to do. Actually the PTO donated ours, but you could put one together without it costing much. We showed who earned each 5 points by having their name on a gator (our school mascot) and making the bulletin board out of it.
