What's at the end of YOUR Rainbow?
By Ann

Clip to ScrapBook
We talked about the legend of finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I then had each child draw a picture of a rainbow, and on a smaller piece of paper, they drew something that they might like to find at the end of the rainbow. My students (K) dictated to me a sentence or so about what they found, but this idea can easily be adapted into a creative writing assignment for older grades.

We used the pictures to make a really great BB, and when I take it down, I plan to put everything into a classbook. Good luck!
