Clip to ScrapBook
This is how I teach it.....
I teach homophones(homonyms)are words that sound the same but are spelled differently and have different meanings.....pear/pair blue/blew etc.

Multiple meaning words can sound the same but have different meanings (like light). But multiple meaning words can be spelled the same but sound differently and have different meanings(minute/minute: one meaning 60 seconds and one meaning small. same with read/read: I will read. I already read).

I have activities for both homophones and multiple meaning words if you want them.

Smiles
Emmy J
