New Career

Nope -- no editing experience, unless you count the school yearbook! I miss the kids as well, and I miss my colleagues at school. It's a little different working in an office environment, and not quite so social, I find. It's a trade-off, as is everything. I just find that the increased personal time is so valuable to me that it is the overriding factor in my decision to stay where I am. I did leave my teaching job open for a year, in case I wanted to go back, but now that I have no evening and weekend work, I can't imagine going back to the 'grading grind'.
