Saxon
By jsm

Clip to ScrapBook
We use Saxon, and I am sold on it. Saxon "jumps around" because it is a spiraling curriculum. It just doesn't teach a concept and never revisit it again. If it is used correctly, it is wonderful. We do the Morning Math section and the kids review important math concepts every morming. The only thing I don't like is the introduction of the multiplication, so I have just been doing that separately. What state are you from? I know that our state board of education website has a curriculum section and tell you how aligned each math program with the state curriculum. It might be something to check out.
