resume advice
By sixtiesbabe

Clip to ScrapBook
I have always heard that a one page resume is best. However, I think it is important to be easy to read. Font, spacing and indentation is the key.
To get everything I want on a resume, I would have to do it single space 10 font. No way! So,
I have a two page resume. On the first is the important stuff-- education, awards and teaching experiences (including practicums and student teaching).
My second page has my awards, activities and interests. That way, if the employer does not look at the second page, nothing is reallylost.
( I am a 4th year, second career teacher)
