Left and Right

I finally found something that works.
Even my three year old kind of gets it.Left/Right is introduced early in our kinder curriculum. During writing time/ journals,etc. I say to them: "Raise your hand that you are writing with!"
of course they all raise they're right hand (except my only left handed guy) then I say: "YES< you write with your RIGHT hand:
If you ever wonder which is your right or left side, just put your imaginary pencil in the air and pretend to write, this is your right." takes awhile but eventually they get it.
It's fun too.
