baggie ice cream
By Amie

Clip to ScrapBook
I found instructions for this activity in a September Mailbox activity book. It's basically done the way the other poster described it. A couple of things I've learned:
1) Put the small baggie full of ingredients inside a medium beggie to protect it.
2) Use a freezer bag for the larger outside bag. It's sturdier and will stand up to all the shaking.
3) Don't use freezer bags on the inside! It keeps the cold away from the ice cream, and you don't want that. (I learned this one the hard way!)
4) This is a really messy activity! If possible, let the kids do it outside.
