red hen
By Kim C

Clip to ScrapBook
I dont remember where i got this...
Little Red Hen works so hard
In her home and in her yard.
Working, working, everday,
She has little time to play.

I make masks and the kids use interactive writing to label them. Then we use them to role play the story. I also have them tell if they agree or disagree with how the red hen ends the story. I have also written another class version beofre. The kids come up with the new characters. Try reading "Little Red Hen Makes a Pizza" and other versions of the story. Make bread! Write a "How to Make Bread" book.
