Clip to ScrapBook
I don't work at a year-round school, but some teachers I know in the district where I live do. They really love it! You don't have the chance to burn out like teachers in traditional schools do, because there are the more frequent breaks. They also say that the kids are more in "touch" with school, without so much time away. Also, as "year rounder" said: You can go on vacations on the off-peak times, which saves a lot of money and which can help you avoid vacation spots which are crowded at peak times. Imagine going to Disney World in October? We once went there in February, and it was wonderful!
