I looped from 3 to 4 last year. It was such a wonderful experience that I was willing to go to fifth grade with them (they will be graduating to junior high. I knew their strentgh and weeaknesses coming through the door in September. We had such a productive 4th grade year. It was unbelievable. The students really soared, and I had a year that was not so stressfull becuase I knew them all and their parents. I LOVED looping. A downfall is that you can beome quite attached. I really do miss them now. I hated the fact that they had to be split up. They made a wonderful team.
