    I agree that excel would work for a checklist. I have done it in the past with a program called Easy Grade Pro. If you don't have a grading program for your computer it's well worth the money. I do my grades on it. I used it at my other school for standards as you are trying to do. You could type in student names once. Copy and paste them to each subject area and type standards in as lessons. It is so user friendly. I think it runs about $65. It would be perfect for what you are doing becuase you wouldn't have to set up tables or anything. Good luck!
