Texas?
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
I hope there are some Texas teachers around who can answer this, but I think a Texas teacher once told me that the state had placed limits on class size. In South Carolina there is no limit on class size at this time. There was a move a few years ago to limit grades K-2 to 15 students, but that doesn't seem to be in place anymore. Some districts in North Carolina have teaching assistants for grades K-3, but I don't believe they have class size limits for any grade level.

I think that you will ultimately need to check with other K teachers in your district or your district itself.
