Clip to ScrapBook
I would take a popular children's story that students will (Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and the Three bears) and type up the story on sheets of paper. Cut the papers so they are separated by events. Give the sheets to the students (you would have to make copies depending on how many people you have, they can even do it with partner). Have them put the story in order. You don't have to put everything about the story on the sheets, just the main ideas and events. You could also teach sequencing words like First, Next, Soon, Finally, etc, and have the students write a paragraph for homework using all of the these words.
