IEP Meeting
By Suzanne

Clip to ScrapBook
I would suggest that you request counseling since it is an emotional issue. Second I would suggest that you ask your own pediatrician to attend the meeting or at the very least send a report. Don't rely on the school physician. I'm not sure if I understand where she is going...a preschool class or into kindergarten. The services will differ depending. I also don't know what your state you are in but it sounds like what you need is a special education consultant teacher for the general education class to support your daughter. Contact the parent advocate ahead of time and make sure they understand what you would like for your daughter before the meeting. Good luck!
