Clip to ScrapBook
In my opinion, it is not the school, the principals, or the teachers leaving the child behind... in many instances it is the parents because they may have little education and don't know what to do.
I feel all of the remarks. For the first time in my 10 years of teaching in Texas, I am not in a TAKS grade but feel the pressure because I know what the kids need to know next year. As for paper work and documentation letting up, I doubt it. If parents were held accountable like we are, maybe there would be a change.
Don't lose sleep, you are doing your job as a teacher, you can't be parent too.
