Touching the Child

Well I teach 5 and 6 year olds. When one of them is lying on the floor and screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO he WON'T go next door to another class just because he's been disturbing the class and breaking the rules all day...yeah, I have been known to touch the kid. Take the kid by the hand and lead him down the hall to the next room.No more. Now I just have to let him sit there and scream. There was an incident a few weeks ago where a kid apparently got so scared when a teacher threatened to call his mother that he peed on himself. They called it corporal punishment. Hence, no more warnings about calling parents.
