Maybe take your time with your review by making in a little more fun & interesting. Have two teams and two bags, filled with different things inside it that remind them of things you have taught them with this particular unit. When they pull out the objects, have them tell you what it has to do with from this unit. For instance, if you had a map of England in the bag, the student would have to tell you what England has to do with the Dec.of Indepndce...and so on.
You could also type up a "Readers Theater" and break the students into a few groups and have them act out the particular characters you have studied in this unit.
