Seating Alternatives
By amy

Clip to ScrapBook
IN my room 5/6, some of my students have been given two desks. IN some cases the desks are side by side in other cases there are a little further apart. I would also try setting limits for this girl by defining the space where she is allowed to be. (It may mean moving her further away from other students.) If she can't stick to the limits try masking tape a circle around her desk. She can be out of her desk, standing, sitting on the floor, but she can't be outside of the circle.

In terms of seating arrangements, I keep my seating plan with a post-it for each child's name, since I move one or two each week.
