I taught in this type of situation for one semester. I only left because we were relocating to another state. I loved the semester I taught and the teachers that were there loved it. You still get a summer break and the two week break after each nine weeks is really wonderful. Gives you time to rejuvenate and it's broken up so there are ends to the problems. I currently teach in a private school and my daughters school(public) is looking at year round. This does not make me real happy, but it would only be for two years until she hits HS, so I would just grin and bear it. Good luck and I hope it works out for you!
