What is PDP's? Is that professional development? All our ancronyms are confusing. IEP, ARC !!!!!

By the way, surely they don't expect you to have a degree in all the above subjects. It is impossible. I'm beginning to think my sp. ed. degree is not worth the paper it is written on. I graduated from a top college, and I am very frustrated. Besides, I waited later in life to start all of this. Where did you get your info, from your district or the state level? We have such a critical need for sp ed teachers in our area, but I am seriously thinking about asking for another area. I dont want to collaborate and just do paperwork. That is not why I went back to school.
