Calm down and take a deep breath. What grade do you teach? First I would suggest you start over Monday with the rules. Over the weekend think about your class rule and decide which do you need to go over. Tell your students first thing in the morning they will practice classroom procedures for the day. Come up with procedures for sharpening pencils, going to the bathroom, in the lunchroom, doing classwork. You need to decide how you want things done. Do you know how you want things done in your room? Be consistent with consequences. Have a consequnce for when rules are broken. Also you need to find a buddy teacher at your school and ask for help. You are doing a great job don't be so hard on yourself.
