Montessori Teacher By Melody

| I am a Montessori teacher, and I feel that in your case, your child has quickly advanced in learning. As you stated, she is up for new challenges. Montessori is not all about new challenge. It is about teaching the child, and then putting the child in real life practices. We have to show them how they can use what they learn in everyday life. By the end of first grade, a child is doing geometry, and some fractional problems. A Montessori child is not on the same learning level as a traditional child. The Montessori child is very visual and stimulated by the senses. Where as you say you are worried your child my get bored with school, you should try something else that may work for her.Good luck.
