Assignment book help
By Leigh

Clip to ScrapBook
I know this is a tough area. I have 29 5th graders!! I write assignments on the white board, they must copy in book and at the end of the day I take 5mins and initial all books. They must get them signed by parents every night. I sent a letter home to parents to help me with this. I also check in the morning that they are all signed. If it is not or they are missing homework they must fill out a "missed assignment" form that gives me their name, the assignment missed and why it is not here. Anyone with a missed assignment sheet is in until the homework is completed. This has really made them more responsible!!! I stress that it is their responsibility and not their parents. Hope this helps..
