Please Wait
By 3rd grade teacher in Texas

Clip to ScrapBook
I have been a teacher for 3 years but this is the first time I have taught 3rd. I feel just like you do but I am going to wait until the end of the year.
My principal also thinks that I will be a good teacher 'someday' but that I need to be nicer to my low-income students and then I will have better classroom management. She has not been in the classroom for some time.
I think I will resign too. I am a good teacher but I guess I need to teacher adults or older kids.
If you wait and then resign, then you can always claim stress for you next position.
By the way, what will you do after teaching?
That is what I am wondering as I update my resume.
