my experience

Clip to ScrapBook
Actually, at the college I'm at now, I feel like I have been well prepared for the areas you named above. At my school education students start teaching one morning a week their sophmore year, then move to one day a week
in junior year, and two days a week 1st semester senior year and full-time second semester senior year. Because of this, almost all of the lessons we create we have to actually teach in the classroom, and we have to show how our lessons coincide with the state curriculum. Also, I've created centers for class projects and actually used them in the classroom, and in many of my classes we
talk about classroom management strategies for all times of the day. I think that every college is different, but I feel that my college has prepared me for teaching.
