incomplete assignments

Clip to ScrapBook
Just a suggestion. I have 18-4th grade students and work is turned in everyday. The next morning I call out names of papers turned in for the subjects. When I call a student's name, they do several different things, raise
hands, stand, sit on their desk tops etc. If a student has not turned in their work, you see it immediately and they pull a card (set up at the beginning of the year) and they have until lunch to get it turned in. If not, they call parents during lunch to let them know they will be afterschool to finish their work. To date, I have only had 3 students afterschool during work. That
was the first/second week of school. Accountability for other things (notes, lunch money and Library books) have also improved greatly.
Good luck!!!!
