MS vs ES
By Jenn

Clip to ScrapBook
Hey there, I taught 5th and 3rd grade before jumping to MS this year and i have loved the change. My heart is still in 3rd, but MS is MUCH better than 5th. For starters, the behavior is the same but you don't spend ALL DAY with some of those "darlings", they are in your room for 50 minutes and then they move on. It gives them less time to get under your skin. If you are prepared, and have plenty to teach there is less time for them to misbehave, always over plan, don't get discouraged if they don't get hw done or there are behaviors. They are "stretching their wings" and need to be reined in. You can do it if you are really prepared. Ask for help when you need it and don;t expect perfection the first time around. GOod Luck.
