I have learned a few things about lice. They do not like lavender. They do not like tee tree oil. Paul Mitchel makes a shampoo with tee tree oil in it or you can buy the oil and add a few drops to your own shampoo. Paul Mitchell also makes a shampoo that says it will help keep the lice away. I can't remember the name. Thjey also do not like gel or hair spray. So, I always use gel and hair spray in my hair. I talk about lice in my class alot also. If I ever see kids with their heads together, I remind them that hair should not touch. The school nurse always reminds me that having head lice is not life threatening. It's just a nuisance. iT'S ONE WAY TO PUT IT IN PERSPECTIVE but i STILL DON'T WANT IT!!
