Clip to ScrapBook
We adopted Houghton Mifflin 2 years ago, and we love it. I teach first grade, but most of the teachers in our school (K-5) really like it as well. The series is generally developmentally appropriate and challenging at the
same time. It provides enough review of prior concepts.

When we adopted it, the company gave us an option of choosing supplementary materials with it. There were many to choose from. Each school in the district could choose a different thing at each grade level. Our school chose the "Math Centers" box, which came with all kinds of games and activities to supplement EACH LESSON in

the book. I absolutely love that centers box. We have Math Centers each Friday for an hour using things out of the box. The kids think it's play time, and they don't even realize that they're reviewing math concepts.
