Now I have worked outside teaching for a year and a half. (I am still involved in education, but I work for a private company in a more traditional 40-hour work week.) I love my job. I like coming to work. I like the people I work with. I have a terrific supervisor. I still dread Sunday nights. I get depressed thinking about another work week ahead of me. I love Friday afternoons. I guess my point is that Sunday nights suck whether you look forward to going to work or not. The weekend represents freedom (even if it is filled with errands such as housework and grocery shopping). Relinquishing that freedom is depressing. Don't worry; your feelings are perfectly normal. We all go through it at least sometimes.
