Grab your flyswatters!
By Bingo

Clip to ScrapBook
#1-Put all of the vocabulary words on large index cards and tape them to the board. Divide the class into 2 teams. Two kids go up to the board wielding flyswatters. Call out a definition and the first kid to slap the answer
gets a point for the team. It's great to revisit old words, too.

#2-Ok,kids take a sheet of paper and fold it in half, fold it in half again, and again. You should have 8 spaces. Write your vocabulary words one per space. Now, draw a picture that will help you remember the definition.

#3-Ok,kids we're going to fold a piece of paper just like you did yesterday. You should have

8 spaces. Write your vocabulary words one per space, again. Then, call out a definiton and ask them to "circle the word that means..." or "put a star above the word that means...."
