I order items from Oriental Trading Co. all the time for my prize/reward box. Maybe you could give them McDonald's,Dairy Queen,Burger King, etc. gift certificates. Sometimes if you tell the store what you are doing, and that it is for school they give you a discount. Another idea might be to give them a video party during a class time, and have root beer floats, or pizza.
Sometimes it isn't the gift but the activity you do with them that they will remember. My son's 5th grade class is going to go for a swimming party at a local health club when they reach their reading goals. That might be another idea. Also they are going to do a bowling party for another goal. Also at the end of the year the entire class is going to do a sleep over in the gym. (It will be a sleepless night)
