I teach fifth grade. I have 23 students. One is legally blind (no aide) 1 is so ADD the school has deemed me as the child's last hope of getting through to the parents. (no luck so far) 1 knows that his parents will get
him out of any thing (told the assistant principal that if he(a.p.) had a problem with his attitude call his dad. One had a parent during registration tell me that the child is L.D. with processing problems and gave me a list of things I had to do (this child has never been tested for any L.D. problems) 1 student has a parent who calls me every afternoon to find out what the student has

to complete for homework. (like I remember exactly what "J.R." got done in class) And to top it all off I have 14 boys to 9 girls.
How I love to wake up every morning.
