I don't really have stats for you..you could probably do a google search and come up with a lot there. I remember an article that I read a few years ago about how heroin was making a comeback. (you know...like a grateful
dead concert...just kidding!) The article was explaining how back in the late 60's and into the 70's heroin was "the drug" to do. Back then, we didn't have the violence in crimes like we do today. Let's face it...drugs ARE synonymous with crime. Yes, we had crime back then...by and for drugs. We still do..but we've got that crack/coke thing going on now. Apparently in a few large

urban cities there was a lot of heroin dealing/using going on a few years ago and the authorities noticed a definate drop in violent crime. From what I got..heroin mellows you out..where crack gives you an attitude.
