I too HATE marking papers. In the last year I have trained myself not to weigh myself down with so much paper work. I love my job, but there is a life after 3:20. Here are some tricks that I do: Correct papers while they| are working. Do nothing BUT correct papers during my prep. Take papers to with me whereever I go...standing in line for the copier or restroom....Correct papers in faculty meetings and while waiting for an oil change or doctors office. I WON'T correct during lunch, you need some down time. What I don't get done will wait for me when I return in the morning. You know what else?????? | |
I sometimes throw papers away! I must say I am a much happier person, and my marriage is stronger for it. We actually talk now, before I was too busy reading through papers. Good luck, hope you find a way that works for you!
