Clip to ScrapBook
I have been teaching for a number of years. I have been finding that the workload has become more and more oppressive. Teaching for state tests. Accounting for tests. Too many discipline problems. If I could go back
a few years, I'd become a guidance counselor. That job gives you the opportunity to work with children, but not have the same responsibilities of managing children. I envy my guidance counselor every day.

I think that another wonderful job is media specialist. No pressures for state tests. I would do that, but I am too near retirement now to go back to school. You sound young enough

to go into one of those jobs. I'd do that if I were in your shoes.

I have resigned from my current job and am thinking of trying for a private school. I am also wanting to work in a library, since I love books.

Good luck in whatever you choose to do!
