the nerve
By CH

Clip to ScrapBook
She has a lot of nerve bossing you around like this. First of all, you DO know what you are doing. Secondly, it is YOUR classroom, and it contains YOUR students. So, one of them is her child. Big whoop!
If you can, assign
her tasks OUTSIDE of the classroom - copies, bulletin boards for out in the hall. I had a parent who wasn't bossy like yours but drove me nuts bc she always interrupted me when I was teaching. Was it ever a pressing concern? Of course not. I finally took her aside and told her how disruptive she is and that from 8:30 until 3:30 is my KIDS' time, not hers.
Get your principal or guidance
counselor involved. She should not undermine you, ESP. in front of your kids. If you are worried about confronting her, leave it in the hands of your administration. You don't need this c***, especially since it is only November. Best of luck to you!
