Me too!
By Emily

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Kathleen!
Congratulations! I can certainly relate! I, too, am a pregnant first grade teacher and this will be our first child as well. I am a first year teacher, going through the first year of BTSA. Luckily, my
credential is already a Professional Clear with CLAD, so I don't have that added stress! I have found that just taking a walk around campus during recess and lunch really helps. Also, I don't know if you have been having morning sickness but I have been and it really helped me to keep 7up and saltine crackers close by. Be sure to sit down often during the day and drink a lot of water
(I am sure you have been hearing that a lot!). As far as relaxation techniques, just close your eyes and take deep breaths whenever you get a chance during the day. I really take advantage of my recess and lunch breaks (on the days that I don't have yard duty!). Hope this helps!
