    Hi there
I was also a 2nd career teacher - I also did my BA via Distance Ed and applied at 4 Ontario universities for the 2000 school year. I had about an 83% average, 16 yrs experience as a pre-school teacher - and was accepted at U of Windsor in June.
I had investigated universities out west, applied to and was accepted at U of Calgary about a month after I applied - I went there. I know when Windsor called and offered me a place they were shocked when I turned it down. In Calgary BEd is a two year program and I loved it. I have a temp certificate right now, and am waiting for my Permanent certification before I try to certify in Ontario. I work in the north out here - and we are paid even more then in Ontario lol. I would also love to know the steps involved - but alas getting a response from the college has been impossible.
    Best of luck
