haven't you ever noticed...???

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi,
I can't stand ADD kids, 'cos I've had so many... but haven't you ever noticed with the kids...
WHERE"S THE FATHER??
Either it's a single mooom with inconsistencies, or she's a pushover-- or dads barely there
anyway.
I think ADD is a question of Parenting Skills (or lack of them).

You can often tell thru the kids also, how strong the dad and mom's relationship is too.

I play with this notion (and it's not a firm belief, but....) I had a good, but tough boss once and as Principal, he would not take any psychologist/ parent/ staff member telling him that little Johnny has ADD. He was in

his 50's and he just didn't believe in the condition. He had such good arguments and supporting examples.

Anyway, I sympathise with what you're dealing with. I know exactly how you're feeling and I've had my share of difficult parents! Experience will make you stronger!!
