Here is my schedule in a nut shell.......
7:45 Unpack, begin morning work
8:00 Announcements/Pledge (takes about 10 min. then continue on morning work)8:30-10:00 Language Block (reading, spelling, grammar) As far | as Reading: Monday: Introduce skills, Vocab, Picture Walk, Tuesday: I meet with 2 groups and Wednesday with 1 group Also on Wed. we read the story aloud as a whold group. On days that I have groups, when they are not in group with me they are either reading a leveled book or working a skills activity independently Thursday: Review, Go over week's work Friday: Test and Culminating Activity 10:00 | |
Special Class10:30 Cursive handwritig (Mon, Tues, Wed); Special Class(Thurs, Fri) 11:00 Journaling
11:30 Lunch
12:00 Share journals and/or Read Aloud(I read to them)
12:30 Math
1:30 Recess
2:00 Science/Social Studies
2:40 Pack up to start being dismissed by 2:50
