Very Painful Lesson

The principal was waiting for me first thing Monday morning! Apparently, she stewed about it all weekend. Well she took everything as a personal attack on her and the school. Basically I am the reason our school morale
is low, I hurt feelings and made people cry, I am extremely negative and maybe I shouldn't be working here. There will be a note in my personal file and I should look up professionalism in the employee handbook.
Nothing I said made any difference, her mind was made up. I felt completely devasted. This was humor. Guess not. I spent most of morning in tears, my students think I have

bad allergies all of a sudden. My stomach has been in knots. I couldn't sleep last night. I might have to ask for a transfer over this or find another job. I am just flabbergasted over the repercussions. I have an exemplary record, but it might not matter. The few colleagues that know what is going on can't believe it either. I don't know what is going to happen.
