I was lucky

My mom made me start work when I was 14 at an amusement park because it was only in the summers and some spring/fall weekends so it wouldn't interfere with my education. I am now 24 years old and I teach 3rd grade and I
still have that summer job, only since then I've moved up the ladder and even to a new park. I start in late February weekends and work until then end of October. I make my teaching salary, plus about 9-10,000 more doing something I absolutely LOVE. I love to be outside and I love to work with people. I know several teachers who do this. On those really bad days I sometimes have with

my kids, I always have something to look forward to. I am such a dork. I know it's not for everyone, but I guess what I'm trying to say is find something that you absolutely LOVE and look forward to doing. I'd rather be happy without a lot of money than miserable with a nice salary.
