Clip to ScrapBook
Hi there
I teach K in Alberta Canada - my first year (second career teacher) and I would advise you to know about curriculum there and be prepared to tell them how you would be ready to teach it. I know there are a lot
more standards in many of the states, but up here I know that I made sure I spoke about teaching to meet the needs of my many students and as well was asked about classroom management.
I was also asked about dealing with parents, other staff and as well asked to relate examples of different senarios that I have experienced in the past that worked well or did not work well, and how
I handled them.
I was asked about my philosphy of teaching and as well because I work in a Metis school, how I handle cultural differences.
I dont know if this is of any help but I hope so. I am sure you will do well and if this teacher is requesting you often, try to use her for a reference.
Best of luck
