LUNCHROOM NAZI
By Aly

Clip to ScrapBook
This was a big issue in my school last year. We had a lunchroom monitor lady (not a teacher) who would ALWAYS put the kids on zero. she'd complain about how noisy the kids were and how it gave her a headache. She'd punish
classes for weeks on end for being too loud. Screaming at the top of her lungs "YOUR ON ZERO - NO TALKING" We would all just look at each other and think - What a witch if you'd shut up it wouldnt be so loud! Well this isnt nice but her nickname became the LUNCHROOM NAZI. I know lunchrooms are loud but for many students this is the ONLY TIME during the day that they can be social. Many
schools have outlawed recess and people want SILENT lunchrooms. Why dont we just tape their mouths shut. OH wait we cant do that because they are children! (Footnote - does anyone else notice how talkative teachers can be during a faculty meeting???) I dont have a solution to the "way too loud" issue but lets all try to just remember that kids will be talkative. It's their nature.
