Clip to ScrapBook
come early and don't leave before your cooperating teacher does. don't stand around and watch, watch for ways to help and then do...
don't take your cooperating teacher's suggestions as criticism they're meant to help
not hurt....when in doubt ask. make sure you give your cooperating teacher your phone# on the first day...she may need to contact you for school closings or delays...find out school policy on weather closings and delays the first day...don't ask are we done yet...it sounds a lot better to say what else needs doing than that

do ask if you can keep a copy of what ever lessons strike your

fancy....do take a lot of pictures...do learn the kids names and interests as fast as you can...make a seating chart if that's what it takes for you to memorize them...do make a picture board of yourself to use to introduce yourself to the class, include pictures of you, your family, you having fun, your school, your pets...kids love to see where you came from and what you do when you're not in school
